CHIJ St Nicholas Girls School wins this year’s Guardians of the City II tournament

The grand finals for the Guardians of the City II tournament was held today (9 June) at *SCAPE Singapore to a strong crowd. The game play for the tournament has also been tweaked for this tournament, allowing a deck of 6 crisis, 3 community support, 8 event and 21 defense cards.

After a gruesome 9 hours of intense match, Team Unprepared from CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls School ousted Fuhua Secondary School to emerge as champions for the school category.

NSF duo from Team Untranny Valley is the champion for the open category. Winners walked away with medals, vouchers and the coveted National Day Parade preview tickets.

The Miss Singapore Pageant 2018 this year ended with a bang with 20 beautiful ladies vying for the most coveted Miss Singapore title as well as subsidiary titles like Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Personality, and Miss Popularity!
Jimmy is also back for the third consecutive year to entertain the strong crowd who turned up to support these beautiful ladies.
The girls showcased their dance skills with a specially choregraphed Korean number from Miss Singapore 2017, Miss Christina Cai. A clear indication of the close ties graduating Miss Singapores have with the organizing team.

The girls also have to catwalk in gowns and bikini wear and to answer some of the most challenging beauty pageant questions in the history of the pageant. Congratulations to all the winners!

M.Pro Golf Challenge 2018

M Tech signature annual golf event, M.Pro Golf Challenge 2018 ended on a high note  at the New Course at Singapore Island Country Club (SICC).

Complementing the blazing sun and blue skies, the air was abuzz with roaring enthusiasm from golfers to get into action! Nearly 100 partners and vendors along with M.Tech team took part in this year’s tournament, featuring several exciting on-course novelty games such as Hole-in-One, Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive.

With close to 15 esteemed sponsors supporting M.Pro Golf Challenge 2018, the entire day’s programme was decked out in style to give golfers an unforgettable experience! Topping off the experience, guests were treated to relaxing shoulder massage in the evening before a sumptuous dinner with great wine and beer.

The event was also hyped up with host Jim Koh and an entertaining performance by stand-up comedian, Fakkah Fuzz, followed by great prizes given out to lucky winners.

This year marks the 7th edition of M.Pro Golf Challenge and the event would not have been possible without the support of our partners, vendors and sponsors!

Resorts World Sentosa Football Fever 2018

Resorts World Sentosa partnered with Emcee Jim Koh, Arabelle Chia and Collin Chee to put up a spectacular soccer screening experience for the guests.

Besides the huge screen for an immersive experience, guests can also order food carefully crafted by Michelin chef. Additional, there were stilt walkers and score analysis and soccer parade during the intermission.

Guests also gets to buy discounted beer whenever a team scores! Of course, strong ties were form with the guests, crew and cast members after a month of gruesome schedule! Thank you RWS for the wonderful memories! <3

Impresario 2017 Finals

Venue: Nanyang Technological University Auditorium

The Impresario is back! In the 25th year running, the organizing committee has invited guest artiste The Freshman (插班生) and a starry guest judge panel. They include Mr. Lee Wei Song 李伟松, Jay Lim, Jayden Zhu and Estella Sia. Jim Koh has also taken up the mandate to be the sole emcee for the finals of the competition.

It was a tough call for the judge as the teams were very good this year.

Shell The Bright Ideas Challenge

Shell’s Bright Idea Challenge is a competition amongst secondary school students, aged 13 to 16 wherein they have to explore innovation solutions to power the cities of the future.

Dr. Janil Puthucheary, Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information, was the guest of honor for the prize presentation held at Toa Payoh HDB Hub.

Emcee Jim Koh was also intrigued with the creativity and passion of the students.
