Resorts World Sentosa partnered with Emcee Jim Koh, Arabelle Chia and Collin Chee to put up a spectacular soccer screening experience for the guests.

Besides the huge screen for an immersive experience, guests can also order food carefully crafted by Michelin chef. Additional, there were stilt walkers and score analysis and soccer parade during the intermission.

Guests also gets to buy discounted beer whenever a team scores! Of course, strong ties were form with the guests, crew and cast members after a month of gruesome schedule! Thank you RWS for the wonderful memories! <3

Dr Ong Chit Chung Memorial Official Launch

Dr Ong Chit Chung Memorial Exhibition is a month’s long exhibition,  officially opened on 14 July 2018 in memory of the late Dr Ong Chit Chung. This exhibition is held at the Bukit Batok Community Club Hall and was officiated by MP for Bukit Batok SMC Mr Murali Pillai and Special Advisor to Chairman of People’s Association Board Mr Lim Boon Heng. MP Mr Chai Chong Yii, Dr S. Vasoo, who was the late Dr. Ong’s parliamentary colleague was also present during the launch.

Dr. Ong was a well-known Member of Parliament of the Jurong GRC (Group Representation Constituency) and NUS Alumnus (1972), who studied and taught at the Department of History. He had cared for and contributed much to the cause of education.

Dr Ong was described by those who know him as an MPwho was always on the ground. His tenure in Bukit Batok town has seen the development of a bus interchange, swimming pool, polyclinic and West Mall Shopping Centre.

Dr. Ong was also known to spearhead fundraising efforts to build the Bukit Batok Community Club on two separate occassion.His compassion also led him to launch support schemes to help the underprivileged. The Share-A-Meal program is one such example that he pioneered and has since evolved to the present day Food and Groceries voucher schemes. Dr. Ong has also helped build a social safety network in Bukit Batok through setting up of voluntary welfare organizations.

McNair Towers HDB Welcome Party

Venue: McNair Towers

As part of HDB’s effort to welcome residents into their new home, a welcome party was organized for the newly moved in residents. It was a day of music, games and food and friendships were forged as neighbours took part in the various activities.

As there were many young kids in the neighbourhood, Emcee Jim Koh also played many of their favourite games and every kid who took part in the game were given a present!

The event was also graced by grassroots adviser, Mr Heng Chee How.

M.Tech Chinese New Year Lo Hei 2018

The annual Chinese New Year Lo-Hei was held at Orchard Hotel. This year, many guests came dressed in this best Chinese New Year outfit and the festive mood was evident.

As there is a Chinese say that goes: It’s better to give than to receive, this short luncheon has a total of 3 lucky draw segments. Emcee Jim Koh was also present to hype the crowd and to play games with the guests! It was an afternoon of fun seeing guests bonding with one another.

The organizers also invited an esteemed fortune teller master to predict the fortune for the various zodiac signs for the guests!

Kampong Glam Community Club Grandparents’ Night

Venue: Ban Heng HarbourFront

It was a heartwarming night as many families staying in the precinct of Kampong Glam brought their parents and grandparents to have this annual dinner.

The committee has also carefully curated the performances for the elderly and some of the items are presented in various dialects and languages, much to the delight of the elderly.

Additionally, Ah Boys to Man 4 main lead, Ryan Lian also made a guest appearance as he shares about his wonderful childhood growing up with his grandmother.

CAFHI Sports Dinner and Dance

Venue: Royal Plaza on Scotts

This is a small gathering as the staff of CAFHI has to be on standby 24/7. However, the staff who were able to make it for the dinner and dance forged ahead and made the night memorable!

This year’s theme is Sports Day. Emcee Jim Koh was dressed in an eye catching sumo wrestle costume. Also, the guests took part in many sports related games! It was indeed a night of fun filled laughter!

Tanglin Trust School Gala Dinner

Venue: Marina Bay Sands

This is a 700 strong crowd with a mixture of locals and expat guests. The night started strong with an opening number by two dancers dressed to Madonna and Lady Gaga.

This was followed by a fashion parade by the organizing committee before Emcee Jim Koh took the stage to welcome the guests. This event would not have been so perfect without the guest’s effort to dress up!

Impresario 2017 Finals

Venue: Nanyang Technological University Auditorium

The Impresario is back! In the 25th year running, the organizing committee has invited guest artiste The Freshman (插班生) and a starry guest judge panel. They include Mr. Lee Wei Song 李伟松, Jay Lim, Jayden Zhu and Estella Sia. Jim Koh has also taken up the mandate to be the sole emcee for the finals of the competition.

It was a tough call for the judge as the teams were very good this year.

Wisescan Singapore Anniversary Dinner

A quarter of a century is an important milestone for any company. This signifies the hard work, prudence and diligence of everyone in the organization.

Thus the organizing committee wanted every guests who attends the annual dinner to feel appreciated in the company.

Hence, besides hosting on stage, Emcee Jim Koh also made sure he went off stage to interact with the guests personal and upclose.

Hougang Capeview HDB Welcome Party

Venue: Hougang Capeview

The residents of Hougang Capeview were welcomed to their new house with this Welcome Party organized by the Housing & Development Board. The program for that day caters to mainly young families. As such, there are drama skits, handicraft workshops.

Kids also get to walk away with a balloon sculpture of their own choice! Emcee Jim Koh also doubled the fun for them by playing games with them! It was an afternoon of friendship, fun and food!
